I’ve used Dodo Juice products for years – I love their effectiveness and attractive branding – so I was very eager to try this APC.
What is TotalWipeout?
TotalWipeOut is an award-winning, colorless all-purpose cleaner (APC) available in 1‑litre and bulk 5‑litre bottles. It’s essentially a strong shampoo with mild solvents, engineered to remove stains, grease, grime and oil – both inside and out, without leaving any residue.

My experience
- Versatility – Used neat on wheel arches, diluted for carpets and trim — it handled all tasks well.
- Scent & residue – Tastes fresh perfume‑like aroma. Rinsed clean, leaving mats and fabric looking naturally clean with no sticky residue.
- Economy – Diluting at roughly 1:4 still left plenty of suds. One 1L made about 5–6L of working solution.
- Matte finish – No sheen or shine after cleaning — exactly what I prefer for interior surfaces.
- Durability – Took off embedded grime without excessive brushing — cleanup was quick and surfaces dried clean.
How to use Total Wipe Out
- Shake well before use, whether using neat or diluted.
- Apply neat for heavy grime (engine bays, wheel arches), or diluted (e.g. 1:1 to 1:10) for general interior/exterior work.
- Agitate with a soft brush or microfiber towel using light pressure.
- Rinse or wipe off with clean water or damp cloth. No residue will be left behind.
- Enjoy clean surfaces that look fresh without shine or smears.
Final thoughts
Why I rate it: Total Wipe Out is a genuinely versatile APC — interior or exterior — that cleans thoroughly, smells fresh, and rinses to a natural matte finish without streaks. The option to dilute makes it very cost-efficient.
Top tip: Use a trigger sprayer for easier application and a soft brush for deep cleaning fabrics and textured plastics.
